OVERVIEW
Space Genius software provides parking industry operators the ability to integrate with their Parking Revenue Access Control System (PARCS) infrastructure – to seamlessly manage reservations, multiple rate structures, inventory control, ancillary services, partner channels, and marketing campaigns – all in real-time.
CHALLENGE
Unfortunately, the complexity of the task at hand bled into the tool’s interface and overall user experience. Space Genius had to dedicate excessive internal resources to onboarding clients and configuring their systems. This issue was majorly inhibiting the scalability of the product.
APPROACH & SOLUTION
I led a team of UX designers to define and create user personae, information architecture, improved navigation, design system, and component library.
